A-Plus Health360-i is a comprehensive medical takaful rider designed not only to cover hospitalisation and medical expenses, but also supports your long-term health journey. It includes hospitalisation coverage, primary care services through AIA panel clinics and telemedicines (via digital health services in AIA+ app), and additional wellness benefits through Health Wallet. Through AIA Vitality, you can also enjoy rewards for staying healthy, including support such as extra cash benefits when admitted to a hospital after maintaining healthy lifestyle habits. This is not just a plan that supports you when you are hospitalised, but a holistic medical protection plan that also rewards your healthy lifestyle over the long term.
A-Plus Health360-i is suitable for individuals and families seeking comprehensive long-term medical protection, especially those who want to take a proactive approach to their health. It’s ideal for parents planning early healthcare coverage for their children, as well as anyone who values living a healthy lifestyle — with the added benefit that AIA rewards you for staying healthy, not just when you need medical care. Available for individuals aged 14 days to 70 years old, it also includes coverage options for pre-born children.

Health Wallet is a special savings feature under A‑Plus Health360-i. You don’t need to contribute any money—your Health Wallet is automatically credited when you meet certain criteria, such as staying healthy or receiving treatment at AIA SMART Panel Providers.
You may utilise your Health Wallet to perform Health Screenings, Vaccinations and even obtain primary care coverage. Additionally, by signing up for AIA Vitality, you may enjoy further rewards for your healthy choices!
A typical medical card mainly helps cover hospitalisation and medical treatment expenses, subject to policy terms and limits. A-Plus Health360-i goes beyond that by not only providing comprehensive medical coverage, but also rewarding you for staying healthy. When you maintain healthy lifestyle habits, you will be entitled to additional benefits under Health Wallet and Health Rewards.
Securing medical coverage early helps provide protection against unexpected healthcare expenses from a young age. A-Plus Health360-i offers coverage for eligible newborns and even pre-born children, allowing parents to plan ahead and support their child’s long-term healthcare needs.
Comprehensive medical takaful helps protect against rising healthcare costs and provides financial support during unexpected medical situations. A-Plus Health360-i supports long-term healthcare planning by offering flexible coverage period options with auto extension of up to age 100 (subject to the basic certificate having sufficient account value to cover the rider’s tabarru' and other certificate fees and charges), comprehensive medical benefits, and wellness-focused features that encourage preventive care.
Terms & Conditions
- A-Plus Health360-i an optional add-on benefit ("rider") that you can attach to a regular contribution Family Takaful plan.
- This rider covers up to age 70 or 80 with automatic extension to 100, depending on the basic plan it is attached to.
- Total benefits payable for medical treatment are subject to your annual limit.
- There is no lifetime limit for A-Plus Health360-i. You also need not worry if you exceed your annual limit, as it will be reset every year during the coverage term.
- AIA PUBLIC Takaful will only pay the eligible medical expenses up to an amount we consider is reasonable and customary, provided that the medical care is medically necessary.
- A-Plus Health360-i provides worldwide coverage. However, if you are residing or travelling outside of Malaysia for more than 90 consecutive days, you will not be covered for any medical treatment received overseas (except for Singapore and Brunei). Please note that the overseas coverage will be in accordance with the Reasonable and Customary and Medically Necessary Charges for such equivalent local treatment in Malaysia.
- If you select the RM500 deductible option, you will need to pay for the deductible amount first from the eligible expenses incurred while we will take care of the balance of the eligible expenses.
- If you select RM500 Deductible with SMART Option, you will need to pay for the first RM500 eligible expenses incurred while we will take care of the balance of the eligible expenses if you follow the SMART Journey. If you do not follow the SMART Journey, you will need to pay the first RM500 and 20% of the eligible expenses incurred, up to RM20,000 per certificate year while we will take care of the balance of the eligible expenses.
- As the Tabarru' is deducted depending on your attained age, it will increase as you age increases.
- The Tabarru' rates for this plan are no guaranteed and AIA PUBLIC Takaful reserves the right to revise the Tabarru' rates by giving you a 30-day written notice.
- The contribution made for this plan may qualify you for a personal tax relief, subject to the final decision of the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia.
- You will have to serve a waiting period before you can make any claims under this rider except for a covered injury. Different waiting periods shall apply for different benefits.
