Frequently Asked Questions

A-Life MediFlex is a regular premium Medical and Health plan that provides comprehensive coverage for hospitalisation and surgical expenses up to age 100 of the Insured, with no lifetime limit.

A-Life MediFlex provides coverage for hospitalisation and eligible medical treatment expenses. Depending on the plan selected, benefits include room and board coverage, intensive care, surgical treatment, outpatient benefits, and other medical support to help reduce the financial burden of unexpected medical situations.

Medical and health insurance coverage helps pay for eligible healthcare expenses such as hospitalisation, surgeries, specialist treatment, intensive care, and other medically necessary treatments. Depending on the plan, coverage may also include benefits like room and board, outpatient cancer treatment, kidney dialysis, emergency care, and overseas medical coverage. Medical coverage helps reduce the financial burden of unexpected healthcare costs and gives individuals and families greater peace of mind when seeking treatment.

Medical insurance helps families manage rising healthcare costs, especially for serious illnesses or long-term treatments. It reduces financial burden, ensures timely treatment, and provides stronger financial protection during medical emergencies.

A medical insurance premium is the amount paid regularly to keep the policy active. It can be paid monthly or yearly and may vary depending on age.

Premiums are based on age, gender, health condition, occupation, and cost saving option chosen. Plans with higher benefits or lower cost saving options may cost more.

You may reduce costs by choosing suitable cost saving options, reviewing coverage regularly, and avoiding unnecessary duplication of benefits.

Missing a payment may affect your coverage. If payment is not received within the grace period, your policy may become inactive, and claims may not be covered until your coverage is reinstated.

When choosing a medical plan, consider your budget, coverage limits, access to hospitals, room and board benefits, available cost-saving features, coverage exclusions, waiting periods, and your long-term healthcare needs.

Medical insurance covers hospital and treatment expenses, while life insurance provides a financial payout to beneficiaries in case of death or total permanent disability.

Yes, some benefits may have waiting periods depending on the condition or treatment. Please refer to the exclusion available in the brochure for more details on the waiting period.
