AIA Vitality Benefit: Yearly Cash Bonus
With AIA Vitality, get 10% of your basic contribution paid with the Yearly Cash Bonus.
Terms & Conditions
- This plan covers individuals up to age 80. Coverage for TPD is up to age 65 and coverage for female pregnancy benefit is up to age 45. If the Person Covered is pregnant, the maximum gestational week allowed is 35 weeks.
- Gift of Joy is eligible provided the child’s date of birth must be at least 280 days from the Issue Date or Commencement Date of A-Life Lady-i and the application for A-Life Idaman made when the Person Covered’s pregnancy term is less than 35 gestation weeks or within 60 days after the child's date of birth.There is a 90-day waiting period from the Issue Date of A-Life Idaman certificate to the time of benefit payment. If you have participated in more than one A-Life Idaman plans for your baby, this benefit shall only applicable to the first approved certificate.
- Bundle of Joy is eligible provided your pregnancy is less than 14 weeks and all requirements are met.
- Female carcinoma in situ or cancer is referring to the following female organs: breast, cervix uteri, uterus, fallopian tube, vulva/vagina or ovary.
- Only marriage and/or childbirth events that happen from the 2ⁿᵈ certificate year onwards are entitled to the cash reward. The first claim can only be made after the contribution for the first 2 certificate years have been paid in full. Each benefit payout shall only be payable for one event per certificate year and will only be paid at certificate anniversary subject to full payment of contribution for the certificate year have been received by us. In the event that you are entitled for 2 events under cash reward benefit during the same certificate year, the benefit payment will be paid in 2 separate payments over 2 consecutive certificate years. This means that if you get married and give birth in the same certificate year, you will receive the second payment in the subsequent certificate year.
- You will receive your Yearly Cash Bonus on every certificate anniversary provided that your AIA Vitality membership has remained active throughout the certificate years.
- The contribution rates of this plan are level and based on your age at issuance date of the plan.
- The contributions for this plan are not guaranteed and AIA PUBLIC Takaful reserves the right to revise the contribution rates by giving you 3 months' written notice.
- The contributions paid for this plan may qualify you for a personal tax relief, subject to the final decision of the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia.
- You will have to serve a waiting period before you can make any claims under this plan. Different waiting period shall apply for different benefits.
- If there is any surplus arising from the takaful risk fund, the surplus will be shared with the eligible participants according to their Tabarru’ allocation.
