AIA Malaysia’s corporate social responsibility programme, AIA Touching Lives, is dedicated to helping the community lead healthier, longer and better lives so that Malaysians can achieve their hopes and dreams of a better future.
Following the integration of our businesses in Malaysia in 2013, AIA reaffirmed its commitment to two causes that it has championed over the years - providing financial aid to underprivileged children born with heart defects; and children born with cleft lip/palate so they can have corrective surgeries done.
In addition to this, we have also organised various initiatives that give back to the community such as the AIA Charity Day, financial aid to healthcare frontlliners impacted by COVID-19, providing food and aid to communities in need among others. Initiatives such as the AIA Charity Day is indeed special to us as it provides an avenue for AIA employees and Life Planners to contribute their time, energy and resources to drive AIA’s fund-raising activities that make a difference to those in need. The money raised through these events have been channeled to various causes, benefitting the communities that we do business in.
Our work to help the underserved communities continues to go on. We hope that through our programmes, we are able to contribute to the sustainability of the communities that we serve in, in line with our purpose of providing them the opportunity to live Healthier, Longer,Better Lives.
