AIA Bhd.’s corporate social responsibility programme AIA Touching Lives is dedicated to helping the community lead longer, healthier and better lives so that Malaysians can achieve their hopes and dreams of a better future.
Following the integration of our businesses in Malaysia in 2013, AIA reaffirmed its commitment to two causes it has championed over the years - providing financial aid to underprivileged children born with heart defects and cleft lip/palate so they can have corrective surgeries done.
What’s special about AIA Touching Lives is that AIA employees unreservedly contribute their time, energy and resources every year to drive AIA’s fund-raising activities. The money raised at those events is channeled to the AIA Touching Lives Fund.
Since 2013, the money raised by AIA employees, combined with funds matched by the company, has helped 19 children with heart defects and over 350 kids with cleft.
In conjunction with AIA's partnership with Tottenham Hotspur FC, the funds have also been used to support Brickfields Community Football Programme - a programme that allows underprivileged kids to play football in a club-like setting. This initiative is in-line with our commitment to promote a healthy lifestyle through sport.
The fund-raising efforts by AIA Bhd. and its employees as well as life planners continue. If you know of a child in need of financial aid to correct a heart or cleft condition, please contact us.
