AIA i-Med Basic provides you coverage for medical treatment and hospitalisation at an affordable price. This plan is suitable if you are looking for a basic medical coverage. You can participate in AIA i-Med Basic directly online and be protected immediately.
This plan is only open to Malaysian citizens residing in Malaysia.
This plan is commission-free and no intermediaries are involved in the sales or marketing of AIA i-Med Basic.

Reimbursement up to RM100 per day for your room and board for a maximum of 120 days per year.
The maximum eligible medical expenses payable by us is RM20,000 annually, subject to RM80,000 per lifetime.
Reimbursement for daily cost of intensive care up to the annual limit of your plan for a maximum of 120 days per year.
Reimbursement up to the annual and lifetime limits for in-hospital related fees, such as hospital supplies and services, surgical fees and operating theatre fees.
You have to pay the first RM300 out of the eligible expenses for Any One Disability, and we will pay for the rest of the eligible expenses.
If there is any excess from the Participant's risk fund at the end of every year, AIA PUBLIC will share it with the eligible Participants at 50:50 ratio.
What does deductible mean?
Deductible is a fixed amount you have to pay for the medical expenses incurred as cost sharing. You have to pay the first RM300 out of the eligible expenses for any one disability, and we will pay for the rest of the eligible expenses.
What does lifetime limit mean?
This is the maximum claimable amount throughout your life time, which you may normally find in a medical plan.
What does annual limit mean?
This is the maximum claimable amount in a year for a medical plan
