Takaful is a mutual assistance scheme based on the principles of solidarity, brotherhood, and cooperation. Each participant agrees to contribute on the basis of Tabarru’ (donation) into a fund called Participants’ Risk Fund (PRF), which will be used to assist each other in times of need. AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd. (AIA PUBLIC) as a Takaful Operator is entrusted to properly invest and manage this fund in accordance with the investment strategy that complies with Shariah principles.
AIA i-Critical Illness Cover is a yearly renewable critical illness takaful plan which provides coverage for 39 critical illnesses up to age 70.
This plan is commission-free and no intermediaries are involved in the marketing of AIA i-Critical Illness Cover.

Terms & Conditions
- Benefits are payable if you survive at least 15 days from the date of diagnosis of any of the 39 critical illnesses or a covered surgery.
- The contribution payable will increase depending on your attained age when the Contribution is due.
- The contributions for this plan is not guaranteed and AIA PUBLIC reserves the right to revise the contribution by giving you 90 days written notice.
- The contributions made for this plan may qualify you for a personal tax relief, subject to the final decision of the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia.
- You will have to serve a waiting period before you can make any claims under this plan. Different waiting periods shall apply for different critical illnesses.
- This plan is underwritten by AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd. (AIA PUBLIC) and AIA PUBLIC is licensed under Islamic Financial Services Act 2013 and regulated by Bank Negara Malaysia.
