No. The cash relief is only payable for a car which is owned by the person who signed up for AIA's Banjir Kilat Relief (i.e., belonging to you, the Covered Person). A copy of existing Motor insurance policy / Takaful certificate is required at point of submission of relief to show your ownership of the car. If your application is successful, you will receive a welcome email within 14 working days from the registration date.
You will then be required to download the AIA+ mobile app via Google Play, App Store or Huawei App Gallery and register your AIA+ account. Once completed, you may view the relief amount via the AIA+ app. You are highly encouraged to download the AIA+ mobile app to enjoy higher relief amount for AIA's Banjir Kilat Relief.

- We may request additional information and/or supporting documents when required; your early response will expedite the processing of your request.

All ages referred to under this relief shall be the age of Covered Person’s last birthday.
“Car” shall mean the private car used for social, domestic and pleasure purposes and for the Covered Person’s limited business use such as getting to and from work, and meeting customers.
“Flood” shall mean the overflowing or deviation from their normal channels of either natural or artificial water courses, bursting or overflowing of public water mains and any other flow or accumulation of water originating from outside the building.
“Covered Person” shall mean the person(s) covered whom must meet the following eligibility and has/have successfully applied for this relief:
- Age last birthday at the time of registration is between eighteen (18) years old and seventy (70) years old; and a Malaysian citizen residing in Malaysia.
“We”, “Our” or “Us” shall mean AIA Bhd., AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd., and AIA General Berhad.
Whenever the context requires, masculine form shall apply to feminine and singular term shall include the plural.
