A-Plus Recover is the booster plan you need for greater health protection! It covers you in the event of severe illnesses or unexpected incidences that result in prolonged hospitalisations.
A-Plus Recover pays out the coverage amount in the event of prolonged hospitalisations due to illnesses or accidents, making this the ideal plan to complement your medical and critical illness coverage!
WHAT'S MORE: The Annual Limit for eligible medical plans** will be increased by 10 times of the A-Plus Recover coverage amount if the medical plan is purchased together with this benefit before 30 April 2023.

The coverage amount is paid out in the event of Prolonged Hospitalisations*, irrespective of whether it was due to illnesses or accidents:
Your coverage will be reset one year after the first Prolonged Hospitalisation Benefit has been paid out.
This means you will still be protected against life's uncertainties after you have recovered.
The Annual Limit for eligible medical plans** will be increased by 10 times of the A-Plus Recover coverage amount if the medical plan is purchased together with this benefit before 30 April 2023.
A-Plus Recover is an affordable plan that is available in the form of an investment-linked rider or a traditional rider.
For example, even a 40-year-old customer can enjoy a coverage of RM100,000 for about RM1 per day.
What does lump sum mean?
This is a single claim payment based on your coverage amount.
What does waiting period mean?
This is the time period where the insurance company will not pay for certain claims.
What does Medically Necessary mean?
In simple terms, Medically Necessary means health care services that a physician, exercising prudent clinical judgment, would provide to a patient.
The service must be:
(i) consistent with the diagnosis and customary medical treatment for the illness/ accident; and
(ii) in accordance with standards of good medical practice, consistent with current standard of professional medical care, and proven medical benefits; and
(iii) not for the convenience of the Insured or the Physician, and unable to be reasonably rendered out of Hospital (if admitted as an In-Patient); and
(iv) not of an experimental, investigational or research nature, preventive or screening nature; and
(v) for which the charges are fair and considered Reasonable and Customary Charges for the illness/ accident.

*To be eligible for the Prolonged Hospitalisation Benefit, such hospitalisation and its duration of stay must be deemed Medically Necessary by the treating doctor.
**Eligible medical plans that are accepted for the Annual Limit Booster are A-Plus Health (Plan 200 & above) or A-Life Med Regular with A-Plus Health Booster (Plan 200 and above) or A-Plus Med with A-Plus MedBooster or A-Life Med Regular with A-Plus MedBooster.
