‘Cardio Boost Challenge’ Campaign

Campaign Period: 17 June to 14 July 2024

Winner Announcement Period: By 15 August 2024

Campaign Mechanics:

During the Campaign Period, AIA Vitality members (“Members") who achieved at least 250 AIA Vitality Points via the Heart Rate Fitness Activity in the AIA+ App will receive  RM20 Touch ‘n Go eWallet Reload Pin or one (1) movie ticket from TGV Cinemas, on first come first serve basis.  

Campaign Terms:

  1. This ‘Cardio Boost Challenge’ campaign (“Campaign”) is open to Members residing in Malaysia, including employees of AIA Malaysia (AIA Malaysia collectively refers to AIA Bhd., AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd., AIA General Berhad, AIA Pension and Asset Management Sdn. Bhd. and AIA Health Services Sdn. Bhd.).
  2. No purchase of AIA Malaysia product(s) is necessary to participate in this Campaign.
  3. This Campaign is not open to AIA Vitality Starter members.
  4. AIA Vitality Points via the Heart Rate Fitness Activity earned on 14 July 2024 after 11.59 pm will not be eligible under this Campaign.
  5. To participate in the Campaign, Members must link their fitness device to the AIA+ App to track their heart rate in the AIA+ App. Members must then earn at least 250 AIA Vitality Points via the Heart Rate Fitness Activity and recorded in the AIA+ App during the Campaign Period.  
  6. AIA Vitality Points shall be awarded by tracking your heart rate during your exercise in accordance with the following table:
    AIA Vitality Points Heart Rate (per Exercise Session)
    50 At an average of more than 60% of your age-related maximum heart rate for at least 30 minutes.
    100
    • At an average of more than 70% of your age-related maximum heart rate for at least 30 minutes, or
    • At an average of more than 60% of your age-related maximum heart rate for at least 60 minutes.

    Note: Maximum heart rate can be calculated by taking 220 – actual age.

    For example, Sam is 45 years old. His maximum heart rate is 220 – 45 = 175 beats per minute (“bpm”)

    If Sam has exercised for 60 minutes at 60% max heart rate i.e., 105bpm (60% x 175bpm = 105bpm), he will earn 100 AIA Vitality Points for this exercise session.

  8. Selection of Winners
    • The first 1,500 Members who fulfill the Campaign Terms will win a RM20 Touch ‘n Go eWallet Reload Pin and the subsequent 5,000 Members who fulfill the Campaign Terms will win one (1) movie ticket by TGV Cinemas (collectively the “Winners”).
    • Winners will be determined based on the fastest date and time taken to earn 250 AIA Vitality Points via the Heart Rate Fitness Activity as synced and recorded in the AIA+ App.
    • Winners will be notified through push notifications via the AIA+ App and the prize will be granted to each Winner in the form of unique code via the AIA+ App.
    • Each Winner is only entitled to win one (1) Prize.
    • In order to qualify for the prize, Member shall ensure that their AIA Vitality membership is active and valid throughout the Campaign Period and Winner Announcement Period.
    • In the event that any of the Winners fail to meet the Campaign Terms, the next Member who qualified the Terms and Conditions of this Campaign shall be shortlisted and selected as next Winner. The same process will continue until there are 6,500 Winners.

 

General Terms and Conditions:

  • By participating in this Campaign, Members are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to the Campaign Terms stipulated herein and will abide by all decisions made by AIA Vitality Malaysia (“AIAVM”).
  • If for any reason AIAVM believes that any Winner has breached any of the Campaign Terms or does not fulfill the Campaign requirements, AIAVM reserves its rights to refuse  awarding any Prize to the Winner.
  • AIAVM’s decision on all matters related to this Campaign (including the selection of the Winners) shall be final and binding. No enquiries on the Winner selection shall be entertained.
  • All personal data provided for the purpose of this Campaign, shall be deemed to have been given with consent by the Members. Please visit www.aia.com.my to read the Privacy Statement.
  • The Members shall assume full liability in the event of any injury, damage or claim resulting from their participation in the Campaign and/or use and/or redemption of their Prize and/or infringement of any third-party intellectual property rights.
  • All transportation, accommodation, personal costs, related expenses and/or any other costs and fees incurred to participate in the Campaign and to redeem the Prize is the sole responsibility of the Members. 
  • AIAVM has the absolute discretion to change, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions and/or to terminate, suspend or cancel this Campaign at any time with or without prior notice.
  • For the avoidance of doubt, the termination, suspension or cancellation of the Campaign shall not entitle the Members or the Winners to claim for compensation against AIAVM for any losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Members or the Winners as a direct or indirect result of the act of termination, suspension or cancellation.
  • AIAVM’s decisions on any matter concerning these Terms and Conditions are final. Any disputes in relation to AIAVM’s decision will not be entertained.
