What is the Cancer Support Programme?

The AIA Cancer Support Programme is here to provide, medical, emotional support and financial assistance to our customers diagnosed with selected cancers. Our partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and hospitals have enabled us to offer customers treatment sessions at home, patient assistance programmes, and personalised counselling to help them manage symptoms, understand the side effects and choose the right treatments.

Available Programmes:

1. NGS Cancer Screening (Next Generation Sequencing)
A newer profiling strategy that’s able to test several cancer genes (i.e. breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer & ovarian cancer) simultaneously, as well as identify new markers that may offer additional treatment options.

2. Cancer Treatment at Home
Customers can receive selected chemotherapy treatments at home* when seeking treatment at our partner hospitals.

3. Cancer Medication Redemption
Customers undergoing breast or lung cancer treatments are entitled for free* cycles of selected chemotherapy.

4. Treatment Counselling
Customers eligible for the Medication Redemption Programme and NGS Cancer Screening can access counselling calls to manage symptoms, understand their condition, and seek support for their health.

How to register for the Patient Assistance Programme?

1. Customer to consult treating doctor regarding the Cancer Support Programme.
2. If eligible, the hospital will provide a Registration Kit.
3. Customer to self-register on the Cancer Support Programme Portal.
4. Pharmaceutical Company to review and approve applications.
5. Customer to download Redemption Letter for treatments at participating hospitals.
