1) This Wonder Waiver Campaign ("Campaign") is organised by AIA Bhd. and AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd. (“AIA”, “we”, “our” or “us”). By joining this Campaign, you (“you”, “your” or “customer”) agree that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of this Campaign and by any change or modification that we may make to this Campaign and/or the Terms and Conditions of this Campaign with prior notice to you. By joining this Campaign, you further agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy accessible at https://www.aia.com.my/en/index/privacy-statement.html

2) Campaign Period: 1 December 2023 to 31 December 2023, both dates inclusive (“Campaign Period”)

3) Eligible Products

Note: Conventional products are underwritten by AIA Bhd. and Takaful products are underwritten by AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd.

4) Campaign Eligibility, Mechanism and Reward 

1. The Campaign is open to all new and existing customers of AIA who purchase/participate in any of the Eligible Products during the Campaign Period. Applications must be received during the Campaign Period and activated by 16 January 2024.


2. Life Planner purchases/participation are not eligible for the Campaign. Life Planner purchases/participation mean the policy/certificate owner and/or the insured/person covered is a Life Planner.


3. Participation in this Campaign is available to selected AIA Life Planners only. Please check with your AIA Life Planner on their eligibility to offer this Campaign or contact AIA here.


4. To qualify for the 1-month premium/contribution waiver, the following conditions must be met:
   1. The application must opt to pay via a payment link or by credit/debit card.
   2. The premium/contribution payment term must be at least 10 years (applicable to Category 2 products only).
   There is no minimum annualised premium/annualised contribution (ANP/ANC) required. The premium/contribution waiver is inclusive of the following premium/contribution (including loading, if any):
   1. Selected basic plan
   2. Attachable riders and A-Plus Health Enhancer
   Any saver and top-up premium/contribution such as A-Plus Saver/i, A-Plus ScholarSaver, A-Plus Legasi Enhancer, A-Plus Enhancer-i and AIA Vitality membership fees, if any, will not be waived.


5. To qualify for the 1-month premium/contribution cashback:
   1. The application must opt to pay by credit card; AND
   2. The minimum ANP/ANC required are RM4,200 for Category 1 products and RM12,000 for Category 2 products.
      Notes: The calculation of the minimum ANP/ANC to be eligible for the cashback is inclusive of any saver and/or top-up premium/contribution such as A-Plus Saver/i, A-Plus ScholarSaver, A-Plus Legasi Enhancer, A-Plus Health Enhancer, A-Plus Enhancer-i and any rider premium/contribution.
      However, the calculation of the cashback EXCLUDES any saver and top-up premium/contribution such as A-Plus Saver/i, A-Plus ScholarSaver, A-Plus Legasi Enhancer, A-Plus Enhancer-i and AIA Vitality membership fees.
      For A-Life Wealth Venture applications, where the applicant is a business organisation, the credit card used must be registered under the business organisation. A copy of the business credit card information must be submitted for verification upon submission.
   3. Applicable to Category 2 products only:
      • The premium/contribution payment term must be at least 10 years.
      • The application must be attached with at least one of the selected AIA Investment Linked Funds below. The cashback payable will be based on the proportion of annualised premium/contribution that was invested in the selected AIA Investment Linked Funds listed below:

6. The premium/contribution payment frequencies available are annually, semi-annually, quarterly and monthly.


7. In view of the 1-month premium/contribution waiver, please refer to the table below for the number of months of premium/contribution payable for each payment frequencies:

   Monthly	Not required to pay premium/contributions upfront including the 1-month advance premium/contribution for monthly mode. The 2nd month premium/contribution will be collected on the 2nd policy/certificate month.

   Any saver and top-up premium/contribution such as A-Plus Saver/i, A-Plus ScholarSaver, A-Plus Legasi Enhancer, A-Plus Enhancer-i and AIA Vitality membership fees, if any, will not be waived.


8. If you make any changes or transactions (e.g., increase of sum assured/sum covered or addition of rider) to the policy/certificate that require additional premium/contribution during the Campaign Period or before the payout of the cashback, the additional premium/contribution will not be waived or calculated in the cashback. For a reduction of premium/contribution, the cashback shall be calculated based on the reduced premium/contribution provided it meets the minimum annualised premium/contribution requirement of this Campaign.


9. The premium/contribution cashback payout will be credited and shown in the eligible policy/certificate owner’s AIA+ app by 31 January 2025 by AIA in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of this Campaign. After which, it shall be deemed as full payment and AIA shall be released and fully discharged from further liability and demand in relation to the cashback.


10. If partial withdrawal from the Protection Account/Participant’s Account Fund/Participant’s Fund or surrender of policy/certificate is made within 6 months from the issue date of the eligible policy/certificate, AIA will deduct the first month’s allocated premium/contribution before the partial withdrawal amount or the surrender value (if any) is payable. If the Protection Account/Participant’s Account Fund/Participant’s Fund is insufficient to deduct the 1st month allocated premium/contribution, it will not be deducted from Savings Account/Participant’s Investment Fund (if any).


11. The policy/certificate will be disqualified from the cashback in the event of any of the following occurring:
    • Lapse, surrender, termination, cancellation of the application
    • Partial withdrawal
    • Premium holiday/contribution holiday
    • Premium/contribution not paid up to date
    • Lapse but reinstated
    • Change of the premium/contribution payment method to a payment method which is not a credit card
    • Policy/certificate does not fulfil the minimum annualised premium/contribution criteria
    • Applicable to Category 2 products (please refer to Clause 3 for the list) only: Policy/certificate with premium/contribution payment term of less than 10 years
    • Applicable to Category 2 products only (except for A-Life Wealth Venture): Change of AIA Investment-Linked Fund(s) selected or investment allocation instruction to the AIA Investment-Linked Fund(s) not listed under Terms & Conditions section (4)(e)(iii), or performed a full fund switch to AIA Fixed Income Fund, AIA Dana Bon and/or A-Dana Income
    during the Campaign Period or before the payout of the cashback.


12. The insured/person covered or policy/certificate owner must ensure that the policy/certificate meets all the campaign requirements prior to and upon payment of the cashback including but not limited to the minimum annualised premium/contribution criteria, selected AIA Investment Linked Funds for Category 2 products, credit card payment criteria and others.


13. In the event the policy/certificate has been cancelled from inception, the first month’s premium/contribution by AIA shall not be refunded. The refund (if any) shall deduct the cashback that has been credited into the customer’s AIA+ app (if any) for the policy/certificate.

5) Important Notes and Disclaimers

1. This material is not intended as an offer or solicitation for the purpose or sale of any financial instrument/product. You should satisfy yourself that the policy/certificate purchased will best serve your needs and that the premium/contribution payable under this policy is an amount that you can afford. To achieve this, we recommend that you speak to your Life Planner who will perform a needs analysis and assist you in making an informed decision. You may also contact the insurance company/Takaful operator directly for more information.
2. You are advised to refer to the Product Disclosure Sheet, Sales Illustration, Fund Fact Sheet(s); if applicable, for further information before purchasing a policy/certificate, and to refer to the terms and conditions in the policy document/certificate document for details of the features and benefits, waiting periods and exclusions under the policy/certificate.

• You are always solely responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your information. AIA may request for further information from you to determine the authenticity of any information provided, including whether it is fraudulent or exaggerated.
  
• AIA may decline the Campaign Reward entitlement in the event any of the Terms and Conditions pursuant to this Campaign is not fulfilled. No appeal(s) will be entertained.
• AIA shall have the right to decide all matters, and disputes concerning this Campaign including substituting the Campaign Reward with other form of gifts / rewards of equivalent value.
• AIA shall have the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of this Campaign, and to suspend, terminate, delay or vary this Campaign with prior notice to you. The mode of notification (if any) of the amendment, suspension, termination, delay or variation shall be at AIA's discretion, including but not limited to displaying the same in any of AIA's website or social media sites.
• The Campaign Reward are non-transferable and any request for Campaign Reward to be credited to a third-party account will not be entertained.
