The third trimester lasts from the 29th week of pregnancy (seventh month) until birth
Your little one will grow a lot bigger in the third trimester. You may experience more aches and swelling as you carry your growing baby around
Week 32:
Your baby's bones are fully formed. The baby can now open and close its eyes and start to sense light
Week 34:
Your baby turns southward, settling into a heads down, bottom up position.
Week 36:
Your baby is considered full term and his or her organs are ready to function on their own
At this stage, your baby should weigh between 2 to 3 kilogram
When sitting, elevate your feet on a footstool or pillow to relieve abdominal aches
Similiar to abdominal aches, relieve pressure off your feet by keeping your legs in an elevated position while you sit
Sleep on your side instead of your back while keeping one or both knees bent
Moisturize your stomach by massaging with aroma oil before bathing
When you begin to feel a slight tingly sensation of a leak, apply firm pressure to your breasts by crossing your arms over your chest and hugging yourself
Try Kegel exercises, work up three sets of 30 Kegel exercises daily
During the third trimester, you'll start seeing your healthcare provider more frequently. Besides determining the baby's position and checking your cervix on how your body prepares for childbirth, your doctor will regularly:
Test your urine for protein
Check your blood pressure
Check your hands and legs for any swelling
Measure your fundal height (the approximate length of your uterus)
Listen to the foetal heart rate
Placing the baby in an incubator
Monitoring for vital signs
Giving the baby a blood transfusion
Replenishing fluids
During this period, it's advised that you say in relatively close proximity to your doctor or midwife in case you go into labor early. The third trimester is also when you would be less mobile than before:
Travel restrictions take effect during the third trimester
Airlines may advise that you fly only with permission from your healthcare provider

Your own comfortable pillow
Backless Slippers
