    This investment-linked plan offers you protection and helps you meet your savings needs. You have the flexibility of changing your level of protection and savings from time to time by choosing from our wide range of investment-linked funds and by adding on optional insurance benefits.

    WHAT DOES IT PROVIDE?

    • DEATH BENEFIT
      DEATH BENEFIT

      You will be covered until you are 100 years old. Should you pass away when your certificate is still active, your loved ones will receive a lump sum payment which includes the covered amount, anniversary bonus and cash value from your investment in AIA PUBLIC’s investment fund(s).

    • ANNIVERSARY BONUS

      Starting from the 2nd year of your certificate, your covered amount will automatically increase by 1% each year up to 120% of the covered amount or RM500,000 (whichever is lower). 

    • ADDITIONAL COVER FOR HEALTHY LIVING
      ADDITIONAL COVER FOR HEALTHY LIVING

      You or your loved ones will receive an additional covered amount if you pass away or become disabled. The amount will depend on your AIA Vitality Status or any changes you make to your A-LifeLink-i certificate. You will receive this additional covered amount in cash if your certificate is active when you turn 55 years old or on the 20th year of your Cover Boost (whichever is later). 

    • CASH VALUE FROM INVESTMENT
      CASH VALUE FROM INVESTMENT

      The cash value of your investment in the investment fund(s) will depend on how your chosen funds perform. You can change funds whenever you want, at no cost, or withdraw some of the cash value if you choose to. You will receive the cash value in full when the certificate ends at age 100.

    1 Coverage for TPD is up to age 70.
    2 Subject to further terms and conditions.

    THE TERMS & CONDITIONS AT A GLANCE
    • This plan covers up to age 100, provided the certificate remains in force and the account value is sufficient to pay for the Tabarru'  and other charges.
    • Tabarru' for this plan is not guaranteed and AIA PUBLIC reserves the right to revise the Tabarru' by giving you 3 months' prior written notice. 
    • You may switch your funds as you need and there will be no switching fee imposed. 
    • Your certificate's  account value is not guaranteed and fluctuates based on the performance of AIA PUBLIC Investment Fund. The potential risks in investing in the funds are borne solely by you.
    • The contributions paid for this plan may qualify you for a personal tax relief, subject to the final decision of the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia.
    • Goods and Services Tax will be chargeable at the prevailing rate on the fees and charges applicable to your certificate. These amounts will be deducted from the fund value of your certificate.
    • You may refer to the certificate contract for full terms and conditions. 
    Eligibility

    The conditions to be eligible for the Takaful coverage

    • This plan is available to individuals aged between 14 days and 70 years old.
    • The minimum contribution for this plan is RM 1,800 annually. 

     

    Exclusions

    Things that you won't be able to claim from this certificate

    Death

    • Suicide, whether sane or insane,  within 1 year from the issue date or commencement date, whichever is later.
       

    Total and Permanent Disability

    • Disability caused directly or indirectly, wholly or partly, by any one of the following occurrences:
      1. willful exposure to danger or attempted self-destruction or self-inflicted injuries while sane or insane.
      2. service in the armed forces in time of declared or undeclared war or while under orders for warlike operations or restoration of public  order.
      3. entering, exiting, operating, servicing, or being transported by any aerial device or conveyance except when the Person Covered is a fare-paying passenger or crew member on a commercial passenger airline on a regular scheduled passenger trip over its established passenger route.
      4. any congenital defect which has manifested or was diagnosed before the Person Covered attains 17 years of age.
         
    • Disability resulting from a physical or mental condition which existed before the Issue Date or Commencement Date, whichever is later, which was not disclosed in the application or health statement.
