If you do not know any AIA Life Planner, please email us at MY.Customer@aia.com and provide your Name, Contact No. and Current Location (e.g., Kepong, Kuala Lumpur) and include “AIA's Banjir Kilat Relief” in the email subject.
The coverage period of AIA’s Banjir Kilat Relief is effective upon successful registration until 31 January 2024, or upon reaching a total payout of RM1 million (for AIA Bhd., AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd., and AIA General Berhad, combined), whichever is earlier. The total payout limit of RM1 million is aggregated between all the free covers which are offered by Us. AIA reserves the right to withdraw AIA’s Banjir Kilat Relief at any time with prior notice.
No. AIA's Banjir Kilat Relief is only eligible for Malaysians residing in Malaysia.
No. AIA's Banjir Kilat Relief only covers damages to cars which are individually owned by the Covered Person. Any damages to company or business owned cars are not covered.
No. You may send it to any motor repair workshops within Malaysia. You may refer to Q15 for more details on how to make a request for relief and for the list of documents required for submission.

Please note that the cash relief is only payable for one car and for one time only.
No. The cash relief is only payable for a car which is owned by the person who signed up for AIA's Banjir Kilat Relief (i.e., belonging to you, the Covered Person). A copy of existing Motor insurance policy / Takaful certificate is required at point of submission of relief to show your ownership of the car. You may refer to Q15 for more details on how to make a request for relief and for the list of documents required for submission.
No. However, a waiting period of fourteen (14) days from the registration date shall apply.
If your application is successful, you will receive a welcome email within 14 working days from the registration date.
You will then be required to download the AIA+ mobile app via Google Play, App Store or Huawei App Gallery and register your AIA+ account. Once completed, you may view the relief amount via the AIA+ app. You are highly encouraged to download the AIA+ mobile app to enjoy higher relief amount for AIA's Banjir Kilat Relief.

All ages referred to under this relief shall be the age of Covered Person’s last
birthday.
“Car” shall mean the private car used for social, domestic and
pleasure purposes and for the Covered Person’s limited business use such as getting to and
from work, and meeting customers.
“Flood” shall mean the overflowing or deviation from their normal channels of either natural or artificial water courses, bursting or overflowing of public water mains and any other flow or accumulation of water originating from outside the building.
“Covered Person” shall mean the person(s) covered whom must meet the following eligibility and has/have successfully applied for this relief:
“We”, “Our” or “Us” shall mean AIA Bhd., AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd., and AIA General Bhd.
Whenever the context requires, masculine form shall apply to feminine and singular term shall include the plural.
